HRC participates in parades year-round, including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veteran's Day and the Christmas season. We welcome any and all members to participate! Please see the guidelines below and contact Vicki Maloney for more information: 781-585-3121.

Parade Group Guidelines

Safety:
- Ride as a group and stay together
- No one to be left alone at trailer at end of parade
- Acclimate mount to street riding, noise, balloons, etc. (a parade clinic is usually held each spring to help with this process!)
- HRC members only per insurance restrictions
- Riders under the age of 18 must have a designated leader to walk with them
- Carry halter and lead

Equipment and Attire:
- Appropriate headgear - Helmets are required for all riders
- Club colors-Red and Black.
- Use HRC saddle pads, black pants, HRC shirt. Appropriate footwear, no sneakers
- Clean horse, clean tack in good repair

Due to our strict liability insurance policy, anyone riding, walking, driving, or handling a horse in our parade group, MUST be a HRC member in good standing. Our parade group is growing in number, and we are thrilled to have more participants, and appreciate your cooperation! Thank you.

Parade participants will be recognized at the Awards Banquet.
Level of participation: 1 - 4 parades = Ribbon
5 or more = Trophy or award

Our very own Drill Team was formed in 2011 and enjoyed a fun first season performing at our July and September shows. The 2012 team is now practicing for next season. If you are interested in joining, open enrollment is every Fall. Contact Gail Bergen for more information.
